My website has been a successful because of everyone who reads, comments and follows me.

I have hit another milestone of 15,000 views early this year

But like my JCW I am forever evolving and becoming better, stronger and faster.

But this time I need your HELP!

I want to know you opinions on what you LIKE & HATE about the website

I have set up up an anonymous comment box so you can help with the direction of the website. It will be undergoing a revamp to celebrate the 2 year anniversary and my JCW turning 3 this year.

The JCW will be undergoing some modifications soon…

My JCW & Me had the time of our lives with my JCW appearing on the National Geographic channel, travelling to MINI UNITED 2012 and various MINI Events and visiting a different city every month

This year has been the best year of my life and actually alot of it to my MINI given i wouldn’t have done half things if i didn’t owe one

Through owning my JCW i got to drive a classic mini at TV Shoot for the National Geographic show and made some new MINI Mates

Starting the blog as just away to share my passion and watching it take off beyond my expectations

I made so many great memories this year with liked mind people who make the most of life has to offer

But behind every smile there is a tear

But we rewind to 2011 which was the worst year of my life and towards end of the year i gave up as i couldn’t take the pain no more

What everyone doesn’t know or didn’t see was my pain both mentally and physically as i had so many problems and my BMW got written off as i travelling on a motorway and slowed down for an accident and the truck driver behind me didn’t pay attention.

I suffered alot from that pain in March 2011 with me having whiplash and unbearable lower back pains with unable to sit down for no more than 10 minutes. On top of that i had insomnia for months and when i did sleep to be suddenly woken like someone had stuck a knife in my back

I had lost alot at this point but this wasn’t the end as i had another two car accidents again people who weren’t paying attention

This was the time where i gave up and couldn’t see the end to my pain and suffering

I still battle with that pain to this day and i don’t think my back will ever be the same

On a last minute thing i went to London for New Year’s Eve to celebrate the beginning of 2012 with my cousin and close friends.

As i watched 2011 come to a close and watched 2012 begin with the fireworks, something clicked and this where i came up with my bucket list of things to do in 2012

I made a PROMISE to myself that i would do them all and i did

I have never been more happier in my life

The advice i have to everyone is stop putting things aside and there are no excuses

If you want to go do something just go and do it

Trust me you don’t want to be sitting there all old with no stories to tell

Always remember everything happens for a reason, you just cant see it at the time

I was selected from numerous old & new MINIs and i was invited to Chobham Test Track in London where Autocar test drive cars and do their 60 seconds Video reviews.

Alot of high speed testing happens at this track as well as lot of TV & film stunt scenes – The most recent being for Top Gear & the new Bond Film Skyfall.

I cleaned, polish, hoovered and cleaned the engine bay for the TV Shoot and sent off from house over 120 miles away. To my luck it started to rain heavily – Thank you British Weather.

I arrived at my hotel which Attaboy TV provided for me.

The next day I sent for bright and early for the shoot and i spotted another JCW – Chilli Red with a Black Roof & JCW Rear Spoiler (later found out they were a member of Totalmini).

I arrived at the Test Track to find a BEAST of Mitsubishi Pajero that looked liked it had ever been cleaned but still it had this MAGIC to it – guess it was the LEGENDARY owner – Kavin McLeod (Great guy).

Then about 5 mins later a Old School Range Rover, P1 Scooby & Evo 6 Tommi Makinen Edition GSR turned up!!!

Then just after that a Classic MINI turned up. Everyone was great to talk to and everyone spoke about the mischief they had been up to with their cars.

Whilst this was going on i was trying to get my JCW all shiney again : D

We were taken on to the test route to the Photoshoot location which was epic drive with an Leguna Seca like corkscrew bend.

We are driving at 60mph and this Mclaren MP4-12C blew past us at least 150MPH it actually shook our cars.

We lined up our cars for the shoot to become stars, actually scrap that my car is more famous then me : /

A Koenigsegg CCR turned up for a potential buyer and it sound biblical at full throttle!!

After some nice lunch it was back to TV Shoot which was really fun as we drove around the test track and a Camera car drive in front of you.

Me being the Joker i am i wanted to sit in the back and i have a go in the camera car to which i was allowed. I was smirking and giggling all the way around, when they took me for a spin round the track.

I finally got to drive a classic MINI that day and i really want one now!!! There is so much room in them plus all the bits and they very easy to work & tune (the saving pot has begun). Made a MINI Mate that day Dave Itzy – the owner of the Classic is a professional Photographer as well (Dave Itzy Media).
